Samsonite has 168 stores in India. Sixteen of the upcoming fifty stores would have floor space of more than 3000 square feet.

Low cost carrier SpiceJet plans to connect Kolkata to Hyderabad and introduce a new Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the Kolkata-Bangalore-Hyderabad route from 4th Feb 2007.

SpiceJet plans to start regular flights from Kolkata (KOL) to Port Blair (IXZ), Andaman and Nicobar Islands by June-end. It also has plans of connecting Kolkata to Agartala (IXA), Bagdogra (IXB), and Dibrugarh (DIB) airports in the North East.

With the introduction of these flights, the airline plans to operate 16 flights daily on the Kolkata sector by the end of June this year. SpiceJet also operates on the Delhi, Chennai, Guwahati, and Bangalore sectors.

The biggest cricket event of the year, the ICC Cricket World Cup, takes place in the West Indies from the 13th of March to the 28th of April. March and April would be the time of sun n' sand, calypso and cricket in the Caribbean islands.
